POLICE: Thursday murder involved botched Craigslist motorcycle sale:
Your latest craigslist killer that isn’t Philip Markoff is allegedly 26-year-old Brandon Kent. He is accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Thai Lam in Savannah, Georgia.
Lam was selling his motorcycle on craigslist and friends say he was meeting someone to sell it at the time he was shot. Police say that Kent was leaving on Lam’s bike just as they arrived. Police chased him to an apartment complex and spotted him trying to leave in an SUV.
He’s pleaded not guilty and held without bond.
But you won’t see this story either in the mainstream media since it happened in the south. Nope, no craigslist killings from the South or Midwest. Just from Boston and New York.

‘Craigslist Killer’ Philip Markoff Wrote Ex-Fiancee’s Name in Blood as He Killed Himself:
We now know how Philip Markoff was able to take the coward’s way out and boy did he have a flair for the dramatic.
Markoff took a pen that was filed down to a slashing tool and cut major arteries in his arms and legs. I guess that Grey’s Anatomy book was used for something else besides hiding his gun. Anyway he also wrapped the wounds in plastic from a plastic bag. He also stuffed toilet paper down his throat and put a plastic bag over his head. Officials say he did all this in order to make sure that medical staff would be unable to revive him. It seems that he really wanted to die. I bet he even went down the road.
But sometime in the middle of all this he was able to scrawl his fiancee’s name in blood. Also he committed suicide on what would have been their one year anniversary. You know, except for the fact that he was arrested for the robbery and murder of Julissa Brisman.
All I have to say is what a bitch. Markoff that is.
Julissa Brisman’s family have expressed their disappointment in Markoff’s suicide saying that he escaped justice. Not to be disrespectful but to them I would say that I believe that justice can be served after this life. I’m sure that Markoff is currently receiving more retribution than this world could possibly inflict.

Report: ‘Craigslist Killer’ Philip Markoff commits suicide in jail:
Fox 25 in Boston is reporting that Philip Markoff committed suicide in jail at 10:20 PM local time last night.
As I’m sure most of you know Markoff was the accused killer of craigslist masseuse Julissa Brisman.
No word yet on how Markoff saved money for the tax payers of Massachusetts.
I refuse to refer to Markoff as the ‘craigslist killer’ because there were craigslist killers before him and there have been craigslist killers after him.
UPDATE: Markoff’s defense attorney has confirmed Markoff’s death.

Police: Man Dead after Answering Craigslist Ad for ATV:
A man from Shelby Township, Michigan is dead after responding to a craigslist ad for an ATV.
The man and a friend went to a house in Detroit after responding to an ad for an ATV. The ‘seller’ said he needed a ride to get the keys. While in transit the ‘seller’ shot both men killing one.
The suspect is still at large and the victim has not yet been named.
One of these days I’m going to tally the body count that craigslist has left in its wake and have sort of a memorial.
Don’t forget to tell your friends that craigslist is not only dangerous but they do nothing to protect their users. Let them know about this site to show them that craigslist isn’t the trustworthy hippy commune that everyone thinks it is.
And since this happened in Murder City don’t expect to see this in the national media.

Sheriff: Craigslist buyer shot during transaction in Lathrop:
A man from Sacramento, California was shot during a robbery in Lathrop, California. The man traveled to Lathrop in order to buy some laptops from a craigslist seller. I wonder if the laptops were of the ‘fruited’ variety.
Anyway the seller turned out to be a robber. The pair struggled for the gun held by the assailant. The man was able to get the gun away but not before being shot twice. Luckily the injuries he sustained were not life threatening.
Again if craigslist took away the perceived notion of anonymity on their site or even started *gasp* charging for ads this wouldn’t be such a common occurrence.

Accused Craigslist gunman taunts victim’s family in court:
The accused gunman who allegedly shot and killed James Sanders in a botched home invasion was said to have taunted the victim’s family in court on Wednesday.
Kiyoshi Higashi is said to have laughed and smirked at the Sanders family during his court appearance. It got so bad Higashi had to be removed from the courtroom. While he was being removed he hurled obscenities at James Sanders widow.
As you may recall the Sanders family advertised a diamond ring for sale on craigslist which led to Higashi and others to perform a home invasion of the Sanders household where James Sanders was shot and killed.
Washington State does have the death penalty. I hope they hand it down to Higashi to wipe that smirk off his face.

Charges Filed Against Girlfriend of Accused Gunman In Deadly Craigslist Robbery:
A fifth person has been charged in connection with the craigslist home invasion murder of James Sanders. 18-year-old Jenna Nicole Ford is the girlfriend of Kiyoshi Higashi. Higashi is the alleged gunman that actually shot and killed Mr. Sanders.
Ford had been questioned before in a different murder investigation and allegedly had the knowledge on how to throw police off the trail.
Prosecutors allege Ford helped Higashi, Amanda Knight and Joshua Reese clean out the car driven to and from the Sanders’ home. They removed zip ties, cords and receipts from the vehicle in the hours after the shooting. “Jenna reported that she has been questioned in the past by police about a murder so she knew what evidence to get rid of,” charging documents state. “
Jenna reported she did not touch anything in the car because she did not want her fingerprints in the car.”
Ford told Reese and Knight about a nearby Dumpster, where they could throw away their clothing. Higashi reportedly spent the night of April 28 with Ford and the two kept checking the Internet for the status of the investigation.
Ford is also claiming that she tipped off Crime Stoppers. So she not only instructed them on how to clean out the car but she also called Crime Stoppers? Seems counterintuitive if you ask me.
She’s been charged with with three counts of first-degree rendering criminal assistance.

Detectives find what may be Edgewood murder weapon:
This is almost ironic considering craigslist was involved.
It seems that the gun used to murder James Sanders in the Washington state craigslist home invasion has traded hands a couple of times.
Police received a tip that the gun was sold after the murder to a guy at a car shop who turned around and sold the gun and other stolen goods to someone else. Plus I wouldn’t be surprised if it was bought stolen by the gunman who killed Sanders.
I wonder if at one time if it was actually for sale on craigslist.

Craigslist Killing Suspect Seen Sobbing In Jail Cell:
Awwwww, isn’t this a shame. Amanda Knight, one of the suspects in the craigslist home invasion murder of James Sanders, was crying when she surrendered to police. Don’t you feel sorry for her?
I’m sure no one was crying at James Sanders’ house the night he was killed. Suck it up bitch. You knew what you were getting into now a man is dead because of your greed.
And what the hell were you going to use the money for anyway. Nothing that is worth a man’s life I’m sure.
Wash. Craigslist killing suspects plead not guilty:
All four suspects in the case, Knight, along with Clabon T. Berniard, who surrendered to police, Kiyoshi Higashi and Joshua Reese have all entered pleas of not guilty. They are all being held on bonds of $2M each.
Police also believe that Higashi was the actual triggerman in James Sanders murder.

4th Suspect Identified, Charged In Craigslist Murder:
A 4th suspect has been named in the craigslist home invasion murder of James Sanders.
Police say that 23-year-old Clabon Berniard is wanted on first degree murder charges and a nationwide warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Already in custody are Joshua Nathan Reese, 20, Kiyoshi Alan Higashi, 22, and Amanda Knight, 21.
Knight has had her bond set at $2M while her cohorts Reese and Higashi are not fighting extradition from California to Washington.
All three of them have also pleaded not guilty.
