Craigslist sex case co-defendant sentenced to 25 years in prison:

One of the worst craigslist sex crimes I’ve posted about was the sex ring out of Newberg, Oregon that not only involved animals but also children as young as 4. Previously the ringleader, Darrin Daily, was sentenced to 40 years which of course doesn’t seem near enough. Now his cohort, Robert Thompson has also been sentenced.

Thompson was not only convicted for his role in the ring but also for trying to arrange a hit on one of their teenage victims. So what did Mr. Dead Behind The Eyes get? Only 25 years.

We’re talking about children being forced to have sex with animals here. Something that depraved should at least get an automatic life sentence without parole. In a perfect world it would result in execution. He could have been sentenced to 40 years but for some reason the judge took leniency on him. Leniency for a guy who gets off on kids and dogs having sex.

Not only does this show what’s still wrong with craigslist but also our justice system in general.

Craigslist sex abuser gets 40 years:

I originally posted about Darrin Daily here and here. He’s the filthy scum who was caught running a child sex ring on craigslist in Newberg, Oregon. In his little circle Daily and his cronies would have sex (child rape) with kids as young as 4 and would sometimes force the kids to have sex with his dog. Daily would recruit new members for his group on craigslist.

This week he pleaded to the charges against him. The plea deal allowed him to be sentenced from 20 to 40 years, His attorney argued that he should only get 20 because “Daily would be amenable to sex offender treatment if freed at 64.” Are you shitting me? This guy runs a child porn and rape ring that involved bestiality and a lawyer has the balls to say that he’d be amenable to treatment? There is only one treatment for dregs like this if you ask me and it comes in several calibers.

Thankfully the judge gave him the max of 40 years. Not only that he’s not eligible for any kind of sentencing reduction program. If Daily lives to see the end of his sentence he’ll be 84 when he gets out.

I guess I don’t have to tell you that if craigslist moderated its casual encounters section or allowed a third-party company to monitor the ads this wouldn’t be an issue.

Man in Newberg Craigslist sex abuse ring faces murder solicitation charges:

Is it me or does he look like he’s dead behind his eyes.

Anyway, I originally posted about Robert D. Thompson here. He’s accused of being one of the participants in a Newberg, Oregon child sex ring that was organized on craigslist and reportedly involved children as young as 4 being raped and forced to have sex with a dog.

Now Thompson has another charge to worry about as he’s now been charged with allegedly trying to solicit a hit on of the teenage victims of the sex ring. Along with his 11 sex abuse charges he’s had seven murder solicitation charges added. Hopefully that means that he’ll get a real sentence instead of the slaps on the wrists that some of the other suspects in the ring got.

Tearful Roberts tells judge ‘I am guilty’ in death of pregnant woman:

As expected butchering mother and baby hosebeast Korena Roberts has pleaded guilty to the brutal murder of Heather Snively and cutting the unborn baby out of Heather’s womb.

Roberts was sentenced to life in prison without parole and as part as of her plea agreement she will not be able to appeal her sentencing. This plea was made more than likely to keep Roberts off of death row.

Roberts killed Snively after Roberts placed an ad on craigslist for baby clothes. Roberts told her friends and family that she was pregnant and tried to pass off Hetaher Snively’s baby as her own after brutally killing her.

Roberts will change plea in 2009 murder of pregnant woman:

After having her motion denied to have the aggravated murder charge dropped against her, hosebeast Korena Roberts is expected to change her plea to guilty later today.

Roberts is accused of brutally murdering Heather Snively and cutting the baby from Heather’s womb who also died. Roberts met Heather after Roberts placed an ad on craigslist for baby clothes.

With the aggravated murder charge still hanging on her Roberts was facing the death penalty. With the change of her plea I’m almost certain that she will be unfortunately spared that fate.

If she gets anything less than life without parole than it will be a travesty.

Korena Roberts still faces death penalty, aggravated murder charges, Washington County judge rules:

Judge rejects motion to dismiss case in murder:

You remember the hosebeast Korena Roberts of Beaverton, Oregon don’t you? Hard to forget a face like that. Anyway if you don’t remember I’ll remind you.

Back in 2009 Roberts allegedly posted an ad on craigslist for baby clothes. Through that ad she met 21-year-old Heather Snively who was pregnant at the time. Roberts gained Snively’s trust and allegedly bludgeoned her to death then cut Heather Snively open in order to steal her unborn baby.

Roberts called paramedics saying that she delivered a baby at home and the baby wasn’t breathing. When Roberts got to the hospital doctors determined that she had not given birth. By that time the baby was also deceased. When police searched Roberts’ home they found Heather Snively’s butchered body in the crawl space.

Now fast forward to this week. It seems her defense attorney tried to get the aggravated murder charges against Roberts dropped so his client wouldn’t have to face the death penalty. I wonder how some attorney’s are able to sleep at night when defending such evil. Anyway the judge would have no part of it rejecting the appeal.

If Roberts does get the death penalty it’s a shame she will die in a much more peaceful way then the torturous way she killed Heather Snively.

Woman tries to hire kidnappers on craigslist

Corvallis woman tried to hire kidnapper on Craigslist, police say:

I wasn’t sure how to open this post. I could either go with “You really can find anything on craigslist, even kidnappers” or “Just when I thought I had seen it all.” So instead I’m going with both.

Anyway Mari-Teresa Price of Corvallis, Oregon has been arrested for allegedly trying to solicit kidnappers on craigslist. She wanted them to break into her estranged husband’s home, ransack the place then kidnap him. No word on what she wanted them to do after he was kidnapped or if she would try and demand ransom.

One of the people that she was in contact with called police.

Man caught selling phony gift cards on craigslist

Man Accused Of Craigslist Gift Card Scam:

Why the long face? Anyway that’s 36-year-old Brian Beck of Portland, Oregon. He’s been arrested for allegedly selling $1000 worth of phony gift cards on craigslist.

Police say that he bought the gift cards then reported them stolen. He would then take the cards that have been reported stolen and then sell them on craigslist.

Again, I personally would never buy gift cards on craigslist and I would recommend that you don’t either.

More craigslist hook up extortion

Police: Craigslist companionship turned into extortion:

As I’ve mentioned before you really shouldn’t hook up with strangers on craigslist, especially if you’re married. Several bad things can happen to you if you do and in this case it was extortion.

27-year-old Amber Louise McGovern of Eugene, Oregon was arrested for allegedly trying to extort money from a married man after they hooked up on craigslist. Police say that she was a kept woman for a while but when the guy said he was cutting her off she threatened to reveal the relationship to his wife.

Don’t think that the guy has gotten off the hook either. I’m sure he had as lot to explain to his wife.

Anyway, police believe that McGovern may have had more victims and that she has used the aliases of Amber Dawn and Amber Swope.

Woman cited for craigslist prostitution and fraud

Ashland police investigate prostitution ring, cite woman:

36-year-old Annette Marie Wilson has been cited by the Ashland, Oregon police for possibly running a craigslist prostitution ring.

She’s also accused of running a phony charity for disabled kids called The Haley Foundation in which she received $6,000 in donations. She allegedly claimed that she is a ‘massage therapist’ for the foundation.

I don’t think that’s the kind of happy endings that disabled kids need.
