Two Suspects Arrested In Valley Rental Scam:

26-year-old Melissa Cowan and 53-year-old Emilio Gonzales have been arrested for being filthy craigslist real estate scammers.

They did the usual of putting up a house for rent that they didn’t own, except instead of just running off with the ‘renter’s’ security deposit and first month’s rent they actually let someone move into the property and kept collecting rent.

They got busted when one of the real owners came home to check on his property and saw some stranger living there. Police then followed one of the victims as she went to pay her rent.

What should have been a tip off is that the renters would meet Cowan at a gas station to pay their rent.

I’ve rented quite a few places in my time and never once did a landlord ask me to meet them at a gas station.

Teen falls victim to Internet harassment:

This is an article about a teenage girl from Las Vegas who shared too much personal information about herself on the internet. Then some scummy 23-year-old guy used it to post an ad on craigslist saying how much she likes kinky sex.

It’s too much teenage drama for me to recap. Just read it as a cautionary tale on why you shouldn’t post your personal info on the internet.
