Accused child molester says he trolled craigslist for victims

Police: Man Trolled Craigslist For Sex With Boys:

Recently 25-year-old Nicholas Blinn of Danville, Indiana was arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old boy in 2008. It turns out that he may have many more victims.

According to police Blinn said that he often scours craigslist in search of sex with boys. He may have molested boys in four Indiana counties. But that’s only the tip of the iceberg in this story.

Blinn also said that he would often meet people for sex off of craigslist and that some of them turned out to be ‘too young’ for him.

Do you see this craigslist? This is your clientele. Besides child molesters they’re pimps, thieves, killers and con men. Yet you still refuse to do any kind of moderation in the personals or casual encounters sections.

How many more children have to be violated before you do anything about this?

How does the saying go? All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. Or for greedy men to turn a blind eye to what they know is wrong.

Child molested by craigslist babysitter. Is anyone surprised?

Babysitter found on Craigslist charged with sexual assault:

Babysitter accused of sexually assaulting 6-year-old girl:

32-year-old Steven P. Knox of Webster, Texas advertised his services as a babysitter on craigslist. A woman from Clear Lake, Texas needed an overnight babysitter and used his services. So does it come as a shock to anybody that Knox is accused of molesting the woman’s 6-year-old daughter?

According to court records, a 6-year-old girl told investigators that Knox, whom she knew as her babysitter, put his finger in her private area four times. The girl said Knox had put “ice” on his finger and that the penetration had burned.

A sexual assault examination on June 24 at Texas Children’s Hospital showed that the girl had a 3-millimeter tear on her vagina, court records stated.

Why do I get the feeling it was Mineral Ice or Icy Hot or something like that?

When approached by KTRK from Houston Knox claims that he allegedly did not intentionally hurt the girl. He also claims that God talks to him.

Then when we asked Knox if he was sorry for what he did, he replied, “All I know is that God says I would be vindicated, and that I would come out on the clear on this.”

Knox went on to tell Eyewitness News that God speaks to him.

And to make matters even worse Knox is out on $30K bond right now.

But the question that begs to be asked is why in the hell would anyone get a babysitter off of craigslist let alone a 32-year-old man. There’s nothing about that sentence that doesn’t scream child molester.

After Joe Paterno: Enough Already With Child Sexual Abuse Hysteria (Updated):

This is a blog post from the Miami New Times which is a Village Voice Media owned publication. The author of the post uses the recent child molestation scandal at Penn State University to say that reports of the sexual abuse of children in this country is nothing more than hysteria.

If that wasn’t bad enough after their post was published they went back and removed part of the post which referred to their own embattled backpage.com.

This post came to my attention through my Google News alerts for anything backpage related. Here is a screen shot of how it appeared in my e-mail.

This comes on top of a months-long campaign by religious groups, and attorneys general against the owner of the newspaper, Village Voice Media, over complaints that Backpage.com, which we also own, abets child sex trafficking. …

So not only do they called child sex abuse hysteria they tried to use the Penn State scandal to post further propaganda about their website that traffics in women and children.

Does anybody think that the Village Voice Media publications have any shred of journalistic integrity anymore?

San Jose cop pleads not guilty to sex charges involving 2 teens:

44-year-old Patrick D’Arrigo of Gilroy, California is/was a cop in San Jose, California. He’s been indicted on such charges as child porn and child molestation.

Investigators allege that he met two boys ages, 17 and 15, on craigslist in the M4M personals in 2008. The ad was placed by a third-party who said he was 18 but was actually 17.

Allegedly D’Arrigo met the kid who posted the ad then arranged to meet the other kids at his house where the kids were said to have been molested. Investigators also say that there is evidence to show that D’Arrigo knew the boys were underage.

That investigation led to a search of D’Arrigo’s home which turned up a plethora of child porn which leads police to believe that he may have had other victims.

Anyone who wishes to contact the Gilroy Police Department about the current allegations against D’Arrigo should call 408-846-0350.

To make matters worse D’Arrigo was also a campus officer at a local high school. It’s not known yet if he had any victims there.

Not surprisingly D’Arrigo was placed on PAID leave following his arrest. Again, what does it take to be placed on unpaid leave? Do you have to blow up a bus full of nuns or something?

This goes to show that on craigslist even the cops can be criminals. When your site is free and unmoderated it attracts every level of the criminal element.

Man allegedly groomed city boys for sex over ‘Net, say cops:

46-year-old Derrick Allan Hamilton of Vernon, BC (not AD) has been arrested for allegedly grooming teenage boys that he met through craigslist.

Police in Calgary say that Hamilton placed an ad on craigslist that was almost blatantly asking for sex with young boys. They also say that he had at l;east two victims, one that was 13 and another that was 14.

Hamilton allegedly got them to pose for explicit pictures and videos over their webcams. Police also say that he had sexual contact with one of his victims.

Hamilton was busted when one of his victims told his parents.

Speaking of parents, like I say at my other site when I talk about social networking sites, no 13 or 14-year-old boy needs a webcam in an unsupervised area. Also parents need to do a better job of monitoring their kids’ activities online. If you’re reading this you should know that craigslist is no place for any child.

Watertown man accused of having sex with boy he met on Craigslist:

40-year-old Mark Barker and 31-year-old Joshua M. Lifton are both from Wattertown, New York. No word on if they actually knew each other but they’ve both been arrested for the same crime. They were both arrested in Philadelphia, New York for allegedly having sex with minors (child rape) that they met through craigslist. The victim in both cases was the same underage boy age 15.

Now some of you may say the boy holds some responsibility in this since he was on craigslist but those people are idiots. A 15-year-old in the state of New York can not legally consent to sex, especially the kind of sex that lurks on the casual encounters section of craigslist.

Also to parents out there no child has any business being on craigslist. Check their internet history to make sure they’re not susceptible to predators like this.

UPDATE: Make it three. 30-year-old Jason Harris of Antwerp, New York was arrested in Wattertown for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old boy he mt through craigslist.

Moore Dad Posts Sex Ad On Craigslist, Involves 6-Year-Old Son:

Just because backpage has been hogging the headlines lately doesn’t mean that craigslist is the land of fluffy bunnies now.

In Moore, Oklahoma Jonathan Mark Smith allegedly posted some kind of sex ad on craigslist which may have involved his 6-year-old autistic son. The ad was allegedly replied to by one Teddy Dean Davis. What we do know is that Dean is said to have fondled the child while Smith watched and masturbated. Let me repeat that for you in layman’s terms in case that didn’t sink in. One guy sexually molested an autistic boy while his dad watched and cranked one out. To make it even extra creepy Smith’s wife was said to have been not home at the time while their other children slept. So not only did this scumbag allow his own son to be molested by a stranger but he allowed said stranger into his house while other his kids were there. Who in the blue hell not only thinks like that but gets off on his own disabled son being molested? Someone who uses craigslist apparently.

Again the article doesn’t state it but I would hazard a guess that this took place in the casual encounters section and again it probably wasn’t flagged by the ‘community policing’. Just because craigslist has closed down the erotic/adult services section doesn’t mean that there’s still not a plethora of criminal activity happening on craigslist. If they insist on keeping casual encounters open it needs to be professionally moderated.

Convicted child molester caught trolling for kids on craigslist

Programmer charged with molesting boy met on Craigslist:

38-year-old Eric N. Victorson is a programmer for the mighty Microsoft Corporation. He’s also a previously convicted child molester. I didn’t know that Microsoft employed child molesters but that’s a rant for another time. Victorson was convicted of 3rd degree child molestation in 1998.

So of course since he was previously convicted and not in jail he must be rehabilitated right? Not even close.

He was allegedly caught in Redmond, Washington, the home of Microsoft, with a 15-year-old boy in his car that he met through craigslist. Supposedly the boy said he was 18 in his craigslist ad looking for a hook up but he told Victorson that he couldn’t drive and had to sneak out of his parents’ house. That should have been a huge red flag.

Victorson got popped for driving drunk with the kid in his car and tried to pass the kid off as a friend from work.

The boy went on to say he met with Victorson after sneaking out of his home. According to charging documents, Victorson touched his genitals while parked in the driveway of a Redmond home, which they left after a resident confronted them.

Child molesters are always so classy aren’t they?

Parents, your kids have no business being on craigslist because there are more predators on there like Victorson waiting for your kids. Nice clientele you have there craigslist.

HIV infected child molester only gets 10 years

Orlando man who used Craigslist to lure, sodomize boy gets 10 years:

I originally posted about 47-year-old Joseph James Woller, of Orlando, Florida here.

He’s the HIV infected sex offender who molested a 13-year-old boy that he met through craigslist.

This past week Woller was sentenced to 10 years behind bars after pleading no contest to lewd or lascivious battery.

That’s it. No other charges and he didn’t even plead guilty. It is a disgusting state of affairs in our judicial system today when a man who is carrying a possibly lethal disease and is willing risk infecting children only gets 10 years in prison.

We need real sentences and we need them now.

Police: Man With HIV Charged In Sex Assault On Teen:

47-year-old Joseph James Woller, of Orlando, Florida was arrested in Casselberry, Florida for allegedly having sex with a 13-year-old boy that he met on craigslist. What makes this even worse is that not only is Woller a registered sex offender but he also has HIV.

Now Woller says that it was the boy that had placed the ad on craigslist and that the boy claimed to be 20 years old but none of that should matter. You’re a sex offender and you carry a possible death sentence in your body. In your case you better damn well make sure that anybody you’re having sex with is not only of age but you better let them know beforehand that you have HIV. Supposedly a condom was used but no form of protection is 100% effective.

And let’s say that the kid did place the ad this just shows that not only do kids have no place on craigslist but parents obviously need to do a better job of knowing what their kids are doing online.

Not to mention that this shows what kind of scum is is trolling on craigslist for sex, people who are more than willing to infect someone with HIV.
