Police Issue Warning About Craigslist Thief:
Police in Clinton Township, Michigan are warning people about alleged craigslist thief Elizabeth Knighton.

Police claim that Knighton targets craigslist sellers that are selling electronics;. When she meets with the sellers she pepper sprays them and makes off with the goods.

Report: Stabenow's husband paid prostitute in sting:
This site just doesn't pick on craigslist. I'll pick on any classified site where a crime has been committed and today the spotlight is on backpage.com. That's where Tom Athans of Michigan found a $150 hooker. Who is Tom Athans you ask. He's the husband of US Senator Debbie Stabenow. He was stopped as part of an internet prostitution sting by police in Troy, MI but was not arrested. Instead he was written up for driving on a suspended license. That reeks of special treatment to me.

Don't be surprised if there's a Senate investigation started into the practices of backpage.com.

Wayne County sting targets prostitutes on craigslist.com:
Wayne County, Michigan Deputies ended up picking up one of their own in a craigslist prostitution sting over the weekend. He was arrested over the weekend along with 18 others from pimps, to prostitutes, to johns that were targeted in a craigslist prostitution sting.

The deputy faces misdemeanor solicitation charges and his police powers are suspended, said Sheriff Warren Evans. He also will face department disciplinary action, Evans said.

"While we hate to have one of our own involved, we don't treat him any different," Evans said Sunday afternoon. He did not identify the deputy.

If you can't get laid wearing a police uniform you need to try harder.

FBI: Craigslist Used In Murder-For-Hire Case:
49-year-old Ann Marie Linscott of Grand Rapids Michigan was arrested for placing an ad looking for a hitman on craigslist.

The ad she placed offered $5,000 to "eradicate" an Oroville, California woman.

The woman in question was the wife of a man she was having an online affair with. The pair had actually met in person on more than one occasion.

I wonder if they found a dead rabbit on her when she was arrested.

Dirty Dozen: 'Craigslist' Hooker Ring Busted:
Police in Westland, Michigan broke up a craigslist prostitution ring involving at least a dozen prostituted that were run by one couple.

Police were tipped off by a 16-year-old who was working for the pair. There's that victimless crime again.

Remember kids even if prostitution is legalized doesn't mean it will stop child prostitution.
