I found him on Craigslist

I met Debbie from placing an add on craigslist. She called me wanting a affordable wall bed and side cabinet for as cheap as she could possibly get. She wanted it built and installed within one week. I had explained to her that I was suppose to do three other jobs in cali. in two days but I would postpone then till the next weekend so that i could get her bed installed in a week. Most people would not do this for their customers but she had been very nice and I wanted to get this done for her. With in that one week period I regreted taking on this job. I had over 45 emails in one week from debbie changing her mind back and forth on what exactly she wanted, and over 35 voicemails and phone calles which I tried my best to respond to all of them. eventhough Debbie is in the film industry and she lives in a million dollar home in the hollywood hills she was to cheap and such a pathological liar that she could not even fork out the money to have the deposit overnighted although she promised me she would since I had used money out of my own pocket to get job started. Debbie was an absolute nightmare when we got to her home, first of all there was no mention that we would be going down four flights of stairs with the bed weighing over 300lbs. Before she sent a deposit i let her know that it was up to her to get the handles for the bed that way she could choose her taste. When we got there she had still not bought handles and was trying to get me to go to the store let her pick them out and i pay for them. She basically placed blame on me because she forgot handles. Next thing she did was tell us where she wanted the bed ,we monuted bed to wall and then when she came back she got upset because the bed was in the wrong position(i mounted the bed right where she said. My helper asked for a drink of water and while everyone in the house even her laborers were drinking bottled water and the fridge was full of it she gave my helper an glass that had not been cleaned full of tap water. while debbie and rickn were out getting handles we had finished bed and were waiting half hour fourty-five min before she came back with handles. i told her i would be back next week to put some more gloss on a cabinet door which she said needed it, and i would do it then. She got a little upset but she was holding back I could tell she wanted to freak out. So i being three hours late already said ok I will put them on, and I started putting the holes in the drawers for the knobs when I noticed that the screws were too short. Again she placed blame on me like I was the one who bought the short screws. Other than that she said she really liked it and was happy with it. I did not ask for payment then and did not expect payment because job was not finished but debbie wrote me a check for full payment which contract states balance due in cash. Which they did not have on hand I was told.

about a day later I got a call from debbie suprise… suprise… guess what she wanted me to build her another beautiful cabinet for the othe side of the bed. I told her there was no chance I did not feel welcome or comfortable being in there house again for longer than I had to be. She told me she did not think her or her husband were rude. Next day another call begging me to make a cabinet. So i did. She also told me that the bed was too heavy because she told me she was using an 11″ mattress and it was actually 14″ bed needed more springs. I told her putting spring on is a lot of hard work and there would be a service charge. When I got there to install they were trying so hard to be nice it was so fake these are flat out mean people. She liked everything and was happy again until i gave her a invoice with a service charge. That is when shit hit he fan she bagan screaming and cursing at me telling me that the whole thing was shit and belonged in a dump she was slaming cabinets and drawers. She was screaming so loud her neighbors and my helper 40 yards away could hear every word from her mouth. Then she had the nerve to report me to the bbb lying her ass off about me.

Why if she did not like my work would she ask me to build another cabinet.
