Man sought bomb maker on craigslist

Madison man accused of seeking a bomb on Craigslist:

Solicitation of murder on craigslist is unfortunately nothing new to these pages. What is new is when a guy asks for a bomb to be made for him.

A 76-year-old man in Madison, Wisconsin was arrested for posting an ad on craigslist that allegedly said he wanted…

…”a mechanic or technician to construct an anti-personnel explosive device,”

It seems that he wanted it sent to a friend of his estranged wife in Montana. Correct me if I’m wrong bust doesn’t the postal service x-ray packages looking for just such a device?

Well, it doesn’t matter anyway because the ad was answered by the ATF who arrested him in a sting.

Again where was the community policing when this ad was posted? I think the request of an anti-personnel explosive device is definitely considered an illegal act.
