Va. Teacher Charged in Teen Sex Case:

34-year-old Heber Ashbrook is an elementary school teacher in Prince William County, Virginia. Or more than likely he was an elementary school teacher. Then again with teacher’s you never know. But I digress.

He was arrested for having sex with a 15-year-old girl that he met through a craigslist personal ad. No word on what section it was but most of the scum like this guy seems to hang out in the casual encounters section.

Ashbrook is on administrative leave. No word if that is paid or unpaid.

22-year-old Lubos Albrecht was a live in nanny for a family in Wheaton, Illinois. They hired him after responding to his ad on craigslist. Albrecht passed a background check and had a previous job at a pre-school.

Even with the alleged credentials it didn’t stop Albrecht from allegedly using the open wifi of a neighbor to the family to distribute over 30,000 images of child porn.

Albrecht claims he never molested any children or took any of the child porn images. However this is more than creepy…

He told agents he had taken a photo of his employers’ 7-year-old son, fully clothed, which he then saved on his laptop in a folder labeled “Special,” court documents allege.

This just goes to show that you don’t have to be registered to be a sex offender.

Also he’s looking at a minimum of five years and a max of 20.  Again I’ll be very surprised if he actually serves more than 5.

1 trial for 2 men accused of arranging rape online:

If you’ll recall Jebidiah James Stipe, of Twentynine Palms, California is accused of positing an ad on craigslist posing as a woman he knows soliciting a rape fantasy that the victim of course didn’t really want. Ty Oliver McDowell of Wyoming is accused of committing the rape on the Casper, Wyoming woman. Both have been ordered to stand trial and they will be tried together. The trial is expected to start on May 24th.

I’m still amazed that there are people out there who think that a lot of women actually have rape fantasies and want them acted out by complete strangers on craigslist. I wouldn’t be surprised if McDowell actually thought what he was doing was consensual however just for the fact that he entered a woman’s house and raped a stranger shows that he’s more than a danger to society. He probably believes that the word gullible is not in the dictionary.

Las Vegas man sentenced for pursuit of sex with boy, 13:

In October of 2007 Thomas Comans III of Las Vegas, Nevada posted an ad in the men seeking men section of craigslist.  The ad stated that he was looking to have sex with a young boy.

Luckily someone noticed this and contacted the actual police since it seems that craigslist’s ‘community police’ obviously didn’t care. Needless to say LVPD posed as a 13-year-old boy on vaction with his family. When Comans arrived at the meeting place he was arrested.

The 52-year-old Comans was sentenced recently in federal court to 10 years in the federal pen and a lifetime on the sex offenders registry.

Again not nearly long enough for these types of scumbags. When will the laws catch up with the degree of evil and malice that these predators pose?

U.S. Marshals Arrest Missing Rape Suspect:

The last we heard about Bruce Martin he skipped out on his court date for raping a woman he met through craigslist. If you’ll recall Martin is accused of raping a woman he met  through craigslist. he allegedly lured her by promising to help with her modeling career and then we he met her he flashed a phony badge and raped her.

Anyway since his jaunt from the law after cutting off his ankle monitor he has been captured by the U.S. Marshals.

Martin says he’s being framed…

“Why did I run? I felt I was being railroaded. … (I) felt I was being railroaded, can’t get a fair trial and (I) didn’t do anything wrong,” Martin said.

I’m expecting the next thing he’ll say was that the one armed man did it.
