Hart District Aide Arrested For Prostitution:

First it was the craigslist mother-daughter hooker team from Philadelphia. Now we have a craigslist and backpage mother-daughter hooker team from Frazier Park, California.

Police there arrested Katherine Silvers (pictured) , 56, and her daughter Sarah Sunshine, 31. They advertised themselves on both craigslist and the Village Voice Media owned backpage.com promising a “smile_massage_smile”. I guess that means a massage with a happy beginning as well as a happy ending.

To make the story even better Silvers is an instructional aide at Rio Norte Jr. High School in Santa Claria, California. Not suprisingly she’s been placed on paid leave. As we all know it takes an act of God and Congress usually to place a school employee in unpaid leave.

After seeing more pictures of the pair you’d have to pay me $250.

And again it shows just how porous craiglist’s mystery screening process is. And backpage…well they just don’t give a shit.

10 people arrested in prostitution sting:

10 people have been in arrested in a craigslist/backpage hooker sting in the Utah communities of South Salt Lake, West Jordan, West Valley City and Sandy.

The worst part is that 19-year-old Joseph Oeser was arrested for pimping out his 17-year-old girlfriend.

But she can’t be considered a victim right?

Man gets 54 months in prison in sex trafficking case:

I originally posted about Dewayne Eugene Hopkins here. He’s the 27-year-old on the left who was arrested in South Salt Lake, Utah for pimping out underage girls on craigslist and backpage. As usual the sentence is a joke as he was only sentenced to 54 months in prison.

His partner in crime, 19-year-old Julia Young, is scheduled for trial in October.

MBI agents arrest five women in Internet sex sting:

Police in Orlando, Florida recently arrested 5 in a craigslist hooker sting. According to the article police used the casual encounters section to find hookers and not the adult services section.

Among those arrested were Jessica Mathis, 20; (pictured) Malisa McGrady, 26; Aisling Harris, 20; Lindsay Buddenbaum, 22; and Marilyn Negron, 30.

Mathis was also arrested in Operation Hot Date in Polk County. Florida.

This further proves my point that not only does craigslist need to reveal how the adult services section is monitored but that the casual encounters section needs to be monitored as well.

Craigslist sex trafficker sentenced:

I originally posted about Rishi Sanwal here. He’s the 24-year-old from El Dorado Hills, California who got arrested last year for pimping out a 17-year-old girl against her will and there may have been a second victim according to records subpoenaed from craigslist.

Sanwal has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison followed by 5 years of supervised release.

Not a bad sentence but I still think that people who pimp out children need to go away for much longer than 12 years. In my opinion they should go away for at least 25 years for child prostitution. Parasites like this need to be taught a lesson.

Polk County busts Craigslist prostitution ring:

Sheriff Grady Judd of Polk County, Florida is my 2nd favorite sheriff next to Sheriff Joe out in Arziona. Sheriff Judd pulled absolutely no punches with the press when talking about the suspects in the infamous Victoria Lindsay beating.

So it should come as no surprise that he’s gone after craigslist prostitution in his jurisdiction.

In an sting dubbed Operation Hot Date undercover detectives contacted women that had taken out the $10 ads in the adult services section of craigslist. Let’s take a look at some of the women that responded to their requests…

One woman was dropped off by her 19-year-old daughter and her husband of 20 years. At least two were pregnant.

One prostitute came from a previous prostitution job, took a shower and was setting an appointment for her next job in Lake County, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

Classy.

All in all 34 men and women were arrested in the sting. I am not going to name them all.

So at least in Polk County the mystery screenings by craigslist are obviously still not effective. But let’s see what craigslist has to say…

“Adult service ads on craigslist are dwarfed in volume, and tame in content, compared to other central Florida advertising venues that have not adopted craigslist’s strict review standards,” the company said in an emailed statement to the Tribune. “It would be surprising if the Sheriff has chosen to ignore the larger and much more explicit adult service advertising venues operating throughout his jurisdiction.”

Like I’ve said it’s obvious their ‘strict review standards’, that no one knows how they work, still aren’t working. Maybe if you removed adult services Sheriff Judd would move on to the other venues.

Sheriff Judd has a warning for guys who use hookers in his county too.

Detectives have the contact books and cell phones of the prostitutes they arrested, and they’ll be contacting former customers, Judd said.

“And for those of you who are married, it will be certainly a surprise for your wife,” Judd said.

I better there are some husbands shitting bricks right now and some divorce lawyers who are salivating.

I hate Craigslist! My ex boyfriend cheated on me by hiring those skanky hookers and then claiming there was no harm done. After perusing (at that time erotic services) I became physically ill because I suspected many girls were not of legal age. What a sad note on our society and shame on Craiglist CEO. I despise him and wish his SF company would fall off the face of the earth.

I then sent ‘Sally’ an e-mail requesting if I could publish her e-mail and this is the response I got…

I would be honored! I live in the bay area and I cringe every time when Craigslist is mentioned in the news or otherwise. My daughters are in their early 20′s and are beautiful college grad women. It makes me sick to know that Craigslist CEO is complicit in the prostitution industry/sex slave trade.

Are you listening Jim Buckmaster? This is someone from your precious Bay Area and not just some big mouth with a website in North Carolina.

How do you sleep at night Jim knowing that children are being pimped out on your site? Probably on the proverbial pile of cash that your site makes on the backs of these women and children.
