New York man robbed of his livelihood

Craigslist scam ends with gun to head:
Videographer Tom Morgan placed an ad on craigslist advertising his services. A woman by the name of Angela claimed that she needed his services to record a bachelorette party she was throwing. When Mr. Morgan went to the address he was given in Brooklyn a man at the house had no idea what he was talking. It was then that he was robbed of equipment and cash by two mask wearing, gun wielding men.

According to the article police and craigslist say meet the people beforehand to avoid such scams which is true. However if craigslist did away with the anonymity of their site I’m sure that scams and robberies like this would hardly be an issue.
