Craigslist ads lead to prostitution sting:
Police in Wichia have arrested 8 in a craigslist prostitution sting ranging in ages from 22 to 37. It tickles me that one of the charges is ’sodomy for hire’. Sounds like the name of a bad porno.
Anyway I wanted to mention something about this quote…
Police said the online site did not break any laws _ it was how the suspects were using the site that constituted illegal activity.
Which I don’t disagree with but if craigslist got rid of their erotic services section this would be less of an issue.

I worry for her parents as i have a daughter in this same situation, and according to federal law I can do nothing more than hope she comes to her senses before it is too late. I cannot even have her detained for drug/psychological testing for intervention

If most newspapers got rid of this section it would be less of a problem.

True but at least newspapers have a higher threshold of entry. You have to actually pay for a newspaper ad and give some type of contact information. The problem is a lot more prevalent on craigslist than it is in newspapers.
