Readers find rental scams

This person is back at it! Claiming to own a house in Toronto but living in North Carolina. Going by the name of George Rinnagio at this address: graciousfield@yahoo.com.

Will send you pictures of the interior that dont’ quite fit, and look more like a condo. Speaks of the God and being married for 23 years and having a daughter. Tries to get you to fill out a rental application disclosing your personal information.

Sadly, he is using the address of a house where one apartment is actually for rent. he knows quite a bit about the house already. Beware of George Rinaggio and his scams, and don’t give out any info!!!

Just to let everyone know i have just received an e-mail that is using the same information that you have posted. He is now going by the name of “Nichole Rinaggio”.

Just wanted to let everyone know that, I almost fell in to this trap. There was a posting of for an Apt in London, Ont. This guy sounds like the one above about the whole married for 23 years and daughter, and talking about god. It was a classified add on kijiji. He now is going by the name of Steve Rinaggio. We drove by the address he gave and it is not even an appartment to what he said.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM…BE SMART AND THINK…THIS IS WHAT RINNAGIO SENT ME. IT IS WRONG AND HE OR SHE SHOULD BE SENT TO JAIL. I DID NOT FALL FOR IT BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE…BUT I HAVE TO ADMIT..IT WAS WISHFUL THINKING.

i felt it was a scam and dialed that number and it was not in service so I responded to him asking for an alternate number I can fax it to and he responded with this: “Fax it to 866-756-6220″

If anyone comes across these 2 numbers, do not give any info and I’m glad I did my research and found this site.

Hello Everyone,

I have also recently been chatting with the same person!! His name is now “Joseph”. Same crap…daughter….Wife….but this apartment is in Fort McMurray. He even gave me an address and said a friend of mine could go by.

I have a new scam - I received a phone call at work from a phone relay company. They have a client on the other end that is def and would like to order some parts. I had that person fax a list and the phone number to fax the pricing is (866)756-6220.

The scam is you send the parts and charge them and the freight to a credit card. The charge will go through but with a few days they will claim the charge is bogus. They get the parts and we get stiffed.

Please be aware - The persons name is Mike Helton (pres of NASCAR)
