Kijiji

Since I did a review on the craigslist competitor Flugpo, I thought it would be only fair if I did a review of Ebay’s Kijiji.

First off that’s the worst name I’ve ever heard.

Getting past that since this is technically a crime website I’m only interested about whether or not illegal activities are allowed on Kijiji like they run rampant on craigslist.

I was pleasantly surprised when I finally found their terms of service and the following things were prohibited.

# Escort services that offer or indicate sexual services
# Illegal Drugs & Drug Paraphernalia
# Illegal Services
# Offensive Material
# Pictures or images that contain nudity
# Prostitution or ads that offer sex, sexual favors or sexual actions in exchange for money

The following types of Personal or Erotic Service ads are prohibited on the site:

# Ads that contain pornography or individuals engaging in sexual activities
# Ads that ask for sex from under age persons
# Ads that offer sex or sexual activities in exchange for money, products or services
# Ads that depicts a person(s), regardless of gender, engaged in actual sexual conduct
# Ads that contain bestiality
# Ads that contain masturbation
# Ads that contain sadistic or masochistic abuse
# Ads posted by Men in the “Women seeking Women” category
# Ads posted by Men in the “Women seeking Men” category
# Ads posted by Women in the “Men seeking Men” category
# Ads posted by Women in the “Men seeking Women” category

The personals however were a little unsettling with people asking for threesomes and things like that.

So I give it a hesitant Trench Reynolds seal of approval.

Flugpo is still #1 in my book though.
