craigslist minister rips off newlyweds

Minister accused of ripping off Ore. newlyweds:
A minister in Oregon that was found on craigslist is accused or ripping off a newlywed couple. The Rev. Shey-Rima Silveira advertised on craigslist as specializing in last minute weddings. When the couple noticed that very few of their friends gave them the requested Home Depot gift cards as wedding presents they became suspicious.

With the help of some friends, the couple did a little detective work. Several guests had purchased the gift cards with credit cards. The couple called Home Depot. Store officials, using the credit card numbers, traced the gift cards and discovered that at least four had been redeemed.

Silveira was on the store’s surveillance tape allegedly redeeming some of the gift cards.

Oregon and craigslist minister? Is anyone else thinking hippy wedding?
