Woman charged in Craigslist hoax pleads not guilty:
Nichole Blackwell, the accused craigslist house hoaxer, has pleaded not guilty to charges of second-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and first-degree criminal impersonation.

Blackwell left court without comment Friday. Her attorney, Ted Rogge, said he doesn’t think the charges against his client will stand up, despite the fact police said she confessed to placing the ad.

Blackwell was released on her own recognizance and is forbidden from using the internet until the trial is over.

Two years prison for ‘goth’ prostitute mom:
If you haven’t been following the saga of Alyson Grizzel she’s the almost 40 “goth girl” craigslist hooker who ended up getting her whole family arrested when she was busted in an undercover sting.

The three-generation Sacramento family — the two women and Grizzel’s 19-year-old son — were arrested April 18 after a San Mateo man told police he met Grizzel in San Mateo and she claimed to have met him previously. She asked to borrow his car but he said she never returned it.

The man contacted police who set up a date at a local motel with Grizzel through her Craigslist ad for a prostitute with a 40DD chest and “goth girl” look. San Mateo police arrested Grizzel for solicitation and found her with methamphetamine, prescription drugs and a syringe.

Grizzel reportedly said the car was in the care of her mother and son. St. Julien, her grandson, and a teenage runaway were located nearby with the car. St. Julien had stolen driver’s licenses for forging checks in her purse.

Well, the 40 year old goth girl got sentenced to two years in the joint for felony charges of car theft and drug possession and misdemeanor prostitution.

I’m guessing they don’t let you have corsets in prison.

Lakewood Police Arrest 2 Buying Sex on Craigslist:
Two men were arrested by Lakewood, CO police for solicitation of child prostitution when they thought they were meeting a 17-year-old prostitute on craigslist. It turns out the 17-year-old girl was actually an undercover police officer.

The two suspects are Emiliano Delgado Rodriguez,35, and Noberto Butanda , 27. Rodriguez is nothing special but Butanda on the other hand is something special…

Both were arrested on charges of “soliciting for child prostitution” and “criminal attempt”. Butanda was also arrested for “child abuse” when it was discovered that he had left his 2-year-old daughter in his vehicle while he went to the room to meet the female.

Father of the year candidate there. And who says prostitution is a victimless crime?

Tricked by Tiffany:
So some poor schmo from Minnesota (no offense Minnesota) comes to the Big Apple. While he’s there he decides to get himself some “company”. So where is the first place he looks? Why craigslist of course. And what did Mr. Tourist Man get for his troubles? A world of hurt.

When boy met girl at the Intercontinental Hotel Sunday, it quickly became clear that a match made in heaven was not in store.

Turns out the hooker wasn’t Tiffany – at least not the woman in the pictures. And she wasn’t particularly interested in providing an “unrushed session.”

What she was interested in was taking his money.

The tourist, whose name was not released, was assaulted and robbed by the woman and her female partner, who was hiding in the hotel room closet, police said.

Candice Lang, 19, and Cedra Neely, 18, each stand about 5-feet-2 and weigh 110 pounds – but police say they’ve become quite the pilfering pair.

They’ve been arrested twice in the past week for robbing and assaulting their unsuspecting johns in midtown hotels, a police source said.

The women, originally from California, have been arrested numerous times in San Francisco and Las Vegas since February 2006 for prostitution, drug possession, robbing johns and fighting with cops, the source said.

The details of the assault are quite comical, to me anyway.

The tourist and Neely – the alleged “true stunning blonde bombshell” named Tiffany – began arguing over the meaning of “full service massage” and the fact that Neely did not resemble the woman in the ad, which advertised her as “5 feet 5 with a toned petite body,” police said.

Eventually, Neely said she was willing to perform a massage with a “happy ending” for $300, police said.

The tourist refused.

As he tried to leave the room, Lang emerged from the closet and leaped on his back while Neely kicked and punched him, police said.

The tourist had several bruises, cuts and lumps on his face, police said.

Let’s see. He’s in a strange town in the big city and his first thought is to purchase an illegal service through a shady website. You’d think he would have seen his beating coming down Broadway but here we are.

He obviously never read this site.

Woman charged after Craigslist posting resulted in a house stripped:
Do you remember the story about the Tacoma house that was placed on craigslist with the ad that said you can remove anything you want? Originally they thought the landlord’s sister, who was recently evicted from the premises, was the one who took out the ad. They were close. It turns out it was the landlord’s niece.

Nichole Blackwell, 28, was charged with second-degree burglary, malicious mischief and criminal impersonation for allegedly posting an ad that read, “Moving out … House being demolished. Come and take whatever you want, nothing is off limits,” on the online classifieds Web site, according to charging documents from Pierce County Superior Court.

Police believe Blackwell disliked Raye and was particularly upset because Raye had recently evicted Blackwell’s mother from the house.

On March 24, Blackwell went with her mom to get some items from the home and returned home angry about how Raye was treating family members, so she posted the ad on Craigslist, according to court documents.

Yes, because the rational adult thing to do is invite an army of scavengers to the property for revenge. I’m surprised the word ‘trailer’ was never mentioned in any of the articles.

Ex-football player guilty here, faces more charges:
Ellis T. Jones III is a recurring character here at CCL. He’s the former San Jose State football player and the infamous “Craigslist Bandit”. He basically invented the craigslist scam of robbing people who think they are buying something from somebody on craigslist.

He’s back in the news for being convicted of burglary…

Shortly before the jury began deliberating last week, Tulare County Superior Court Judge Darryl Ferguson dismissed charges —including attempted murder — for lack of evidence against Jones, 21, in a July 3 home-invasion robbery in Visalia in which a man was shot and paralyzed.

The jury found Jones guilty Friday of conspiracy and burglary for the pizzeria robbery as well as assault for pointing a gun at people in the business. He faces up to 5 years and eight months in prison.

Although Jones was charged for the home invasion robbery on counts of attempted murder, burglary and attempted robbery, Ferguson ruled that not enough evidence was presented during the trial to show he was involved in that crime, and the judge dismissed those charges before the jury began deliberations.

He’s still awaiting trial on the craigslist charges.

Thanks to Geoff for the tip.

Police: Couple Forced 14-Year-Old To Prostitute:

In his 36 years of service Lt. Farmer has never seen a case like this. The 14-year-old girl was allegedly forced into prostitution by both Edward Gentry, 22, and Keisha Pagan, 35.

The girl apparently ran away from home last month, and ended up under Gentry and Pagan’s care at a Sacramento motel. Police said the couple posted sex ads for the girl, and an undercover officer called the couple. Police found Gentry, Pagan, and the little girl in the motel room.

craigslist always says that they let their users police the site for illegal ads. Obviously they’re not doing such a great job in the Bay Area.

Cops: Teen pimped herself at mom’s at-home day-care biz:
19-year-old Vibeke A. Gonzalez was arrested for prostituting herself out of her mother’s Massachusetts home daycare business. Police found her ad on craigslist advertising pricey erotic massages.

“Young beautiful girl, in call erotic massage. Not full-service but none leave disappointed,” read the ad, according to police. “Newly blonde, light eyes, delicate features, petite. Utmost of confidentiality.”

Undercover police responded to the ad.

On Sunday afternoon, according to police reports, the cop went to the apartment and said he had never done anything like this before. He asked what was involved, and Gonzalez was arrested after responding to the remark, police said.

Mom had no idea what was going on and claims it was a one time thing.

As an added bonus here is Ms. Gonzalez’s MySpace. Classy.
